Our Community & Mission
We belong to the Arekatika community, also known as Are Katika or Are-Suryavanshi. We are a Hindu caste mostly found in the southern Indian states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. Traditionally, our community has been involved in occupations like meat trading, hunting, and serving as soldiers. We identify ourselves as Kshatriyas and have historical connections with the Maratha clan.
